From the moment you walk in, you’re bombarded with crazy fun
Every Sunday during the school year, middle school students get together with their local campus for Breakaway. From the moment you walk in, you have a place to belong, a place to have fun, and a place to explore your faith. We spend time hanging out together playing games and enjoying community before heading into small groups where you can grow and make great friends! We also have a time together in large group where we learn about Jesus in a powerful and relevant way. If you have questions please reach out to your campus’ Student Ministry Director. Also, if you are a parent of a student with differing abilities, please reach out to your Student Ministry Director. Can’t wait to see you!

WHAT TO EXPECT
Breakaway is a place where students in grades 6-8 can discover how relevant God is in their lives with action-packed messages and fun activities. During the school year, Breakaway meets at each campus. Time and locations vary by campus but the programming is the same – fun for middle school students while giving them opportunities to engage with God on their own level.
Small groups are designed to help students grow spiritually and connect relationally. Every week, age-specific groups meet and dig into a Bible-based curriculum in a casual, relaxed environment, that creates space for students to connect with God, friends and a caring adult small group leader from our ministry.
Events, Retreats & Missions
Special events, retreats, and mission trips are out-of-the-ordinary ways students can experience fun, laughter, community and growth in their faith. Some of the events that have been planned for your 6th-8th grader include things like squirt gun fights, trips to amusement parks, summer camps, retreats, mission trips geared toward their age groups and so much more. All of these are designed to create space and time for students to connect with God and each other, as they explore and grow in their faith.
