Thanksgiving

TAKE PART IN A KENSINGTON TRADITION

Fill the season with an extra helping of joy!

Over the years, hundreds of Kensington volunteers have made spreading God’s love to others a part of their Thanksgiving tradition. Last year, we delivered more than 1,700 baskets to families in need in our own backyard.

Join us this holiday season, as we focus on gratitude within and then move out to make a difference in our communities.

Thanksgiving Baskets

To Donate a Basket

This is our 25th year of providing Thanksgiving Baskets in support of the families of our School Partners. Each $50 donation provides a warm Thanksgiving dinner to a local family. Whether you feed one family or 100 families, your generosity brings hope to those that need it the most.

There are several easy ways to make a gift:

• To give online, choose the number of baskets below.

• Drop a check in the offering or through the mail. Please mark “Thanksgiving Baskets” in the memo line. Checks should be mailed to ‘Kensington Church, Attn: Finance, 1825 E Square Lake Road, Troy, MI 48085.’

Thank you for your openhanded living that shines the light of Jesus in our local communities.

To Deliver a Basket

Join us on Saturday, November 23, as we pack baskets at our campus prep sites, and then personally take them to grateful recipients across metro Detroit, and Traverse City. Collectively, Kensington will deliver 1,700 baskets to approximately 10,000 people this year! Baskets are filled with foods to provide a traditional Thanksgiving meal (including a turkey!) for a family that otherwise may not have one. This is a great opportunity to serve alongside your family and friends. There are many ways to support this mission, whether it is donating a basket, filling a basket, delivering a basket or working behind the scenes.
