Troy KKids Early Childhood Groups Coordinator
Description
Lead the Early Childhood environments, groups and group leads for KKids birth thru preschool. Build community and belonging with Kids and families.
Position Requirements
Qualifications
1. Education: Undergraduate degree preferred, especially in the areas of education/child development or children’s ministry.
2. Experience: Leading children’s ministry in a local church or Para church organization with a proven ability to lead and develop volunteers, build teams and cast vision.
3. Requirements: Passion for children and families. Membership at Kensington Community Church. Affirmation of the mission, values, and beliefs of Kensington.
Responsibilities
Lead Early Childhood Environments, group, leaders/volunteers for birth-preschool.
• Recruit, onboard, develop, lead, schedule volunteers, & celebrate group leaders & Room Admins
• Develop relationships and community with EC leaders/volunteers inside & outside the church
• prepare group leaders to lead small group content on Sundays with lesson, materials, etc.
• Oversee one age group/area on Sundays
• Lead set up for EC rooms for KKids programming
• support the baby dedication class, ceremony & families
• work with KKids team on planning & execution of events, retreats, camps, etc.
Families and babies/kids
• Get to know babies/kids names and families.
• Intentionally meet with families for prayer, support, resourcing, etc.
• Lead communication with early childhood families for upcoming KKids and campus events
Meetings
• Attend and participate in all KKids, Troy core and Staff meetings.
