Kensington Family,
What another great year it has been! As we look back on this past ministry year, we are incredibly grateful for the many ways we’ve seen God move across Kensington. Through every campus, ministry, outreach effort, and conversation, we continue to see lives transformed and people taking meaningful steps toward Jesus.
This past year, we celebrated more than 300 baptisms, welcomed tens of thousands of people through weekend and holiday services, and watched thousands of kids, students, and adults grow in faith through groups, care ministries, retreats, and special events. Across our communities and around the world, Kensington people continued to serve faithfully through local outreach efforts, global partnerships, and everyday acts of generosity and compassion. It is remarkable to witness all that God is doing through Kensington.
As we step into a new fiscal year, we do so with excitement and confidence in what God is continuing to do in and through our church. As we look ahead, the budget for this coming year is going to look a lot like this past year: steady and faithful. We don’t take the responsibility of stewarding what God has entrusted to us lightly, and we’re committed to staying on mission together.
Something that is very exciting to me is this: if our giving stays strong and we keep living openhanded — our goal is to have every single one of our current mortgages paid off by January 2028. Completely debt free. Can you imagine what that means for this church? Eighteen months from now, we are planning to have all our mortgages paid off — Praise God!
Beyond the budget, we affirm our elder team every year as part of this vote. Our elder board has representation from every one of our six campuses — men and women who are faithfully serving the church through prayer and leadership. I’m really grateful for each of these amazing people.
Thank you for being part of the story God is writing through Kensington. Your generosity, prayers, service, and faithfulness continue to make an eternal impact in the lives of people here in our communities and around the world. We believe the best is still ahead as we continue pursuing our mission to see every[one] transformed and mobilized by Jesus.
Thankful to be on this journey with each of you,
Senior Pastor
