Becoming | Apr 7-28
Life goals. Bucket lists. Dreams. We’re working, we’re growing, we’re even striving sometimes. But the words of Jesus, from a hilltop teaching long ago, echo incongruent with all this. He calls the poor, the hungry, and those trying to make peace blessed?! Join us for this four-week series as we consider the divine reversal of God’s Kingdom and how we, as His followers, are to live – becoming more and more like Him.
Upcoming Series: Growing Together | May 5-26
Is faith meant for community? Picture a great oak tree rooted deeply in the soil of our shared faith and commitment to follow Jesus. Storms – even theological, political, or social disagreements – cannot divide us. Join us for this four-week series as we consider the words of Jesus and commit to growing together despite our differences.
Above All: Reaching the [one]
In September, Brian Mowrey shared his vision – what is Above All – for us as a community this year. He described it as a year-long journey with three destinations: Knowing the One, Reaching the [one], and Becoming one. Visit kensingtonchurch.org/aboveall to learn more.
Women’s Retreat | May 17-19
Women, you are invited to a joy-filled weekend as we explore what it means to live like Jesus. Come experience encouraging speakers, powerful worship, practical workshops, and exciting activities – this is the place to grow your faith, laugh in community with other women, and refresh your soul!
This year, we’re focusing on the book of 1 John which is a “letter of Light and Love” to all of us, showing us how Jesus lived differently. He was Light in the darkness. He was Love in the midst of hatred and violence. Let’s live like Jesus!

A Global Impact
At Kensington, we believe that to love God means we love others – even those halfway around the world in India, Kenya, or Palestine. We have developed ongoing partnerships with indigenous churches and organizations in nine different countries. We support our partners through relationships and resources as they meet the spiritual and physical needs in their own communities. Find out more at kensingtonchurch.org/global.
