Why We Go
A Life-Changing Experience.
We go to encourage and assist our Global Partners as they share the Gospel, plant churches and meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs within their cultural communities.
We go to help Kensington team members grow deeper in their relationships with Christ as they serve with His heart, and act as His hands and feet to their brothers and sisters abroad.
UPCOMING TRIPSFAQ
What is required to participate on a short-term trip with Kensington?
A teachable heart. Our goal is to go as learners, not experts; as partners, not dictators; as encouragers, not critics.
Fundraising. We will help you develop ways to raise support from others or you can pay your own way.
Attendance at pre-trip meetings. These meetings will help prepare you for your trip and to get to know your team before landing in the field.
Flexibility. Plans change often on trips. Learning to adapt to each other and the people we serve alongside will only enrich your experience.
Ready to take a trip?
Join a Kensington Short-Term Trip team and live out your faith by walking alongside an indigenous leader serving their own people. Our short-term trips for 2020 include Latin America, Israel, and Kenya, India, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Nepal as well as trips within the United States.
