Walking Like A Mother

This year Jaxon also said mama for the first time. And I think it’s safe to say I won’t be needing anything else for Mother’s Day this year (or ever)! Two years ago I wrote a blog to Jax, now almost-five-years-old, entitled A Letter To My First Born Son. And as I reflect on the past two years, […]

What Do You Do For Fun?

No, Really, What Do You Do For FUN? When my son was 4 years old, he delighted in people and greeted friends and strangers alike wherever we went. Although he had spoken very few words at two years old – resulting in therapy – this 4-year-old preschooler was a different child. His language skills came […]

Waiting For Easter

Good Friday is a day of deep reflection and struggle for me. After all, this day was wrought with STRUGGLE, and as I try to process it all I’m filled with sadness and questions. I prefer skipping to the good part…to Sunday, to resurrection, to hope! But God doesn’t rush the Resurrection. There is real […]

Starting My Day with Praise

Prayer. Have you struggled to connect with God through prayer? I have no problem telling God what I need and how I want His divine help in my life and in the lives of those I love.  Intellectually, I know He hears and cares. But my prayers have often been a long list of my […]

Pandemic Hobbies, A Little Art History, & Opening The Door To Jesus

We are human ‘beings’ not human ‘doings.’ Do you ever feel like you don’t measure up, you’re not enough, or just can’t do one more thing? Come up with one more creative idea? Figure out the answer to one more math problem? Everything is on you and if you don’t get it right things will […]

Bring On The Estrogen

“There’s something beautiful that can happen when we realize we are in this together. We are on the same team!” – Michelle Rohner

Did God Make Me Ugly?

I grew up as a misfit. I just didn’t fit in. It all started with that mop of curly hair God graced me with. How I cursed Him for giving me that unruly, untamable, wild hair that made it impossible to blend in during the 60s era of bone-straight hair that Cher so fearlessly led. […]

What Does It Mean To Be On The Team?

We are grateful for you and your decision to be a part of the Hope Water Project community! Together, we can change lives!

We are here to support you and encourage you through the process; whether you are a walker, a runner, a cyclist, a volunteer or “outside the box” fundraiser – you are moving out and we appreciate
you!

YOU are changing lives! As a team, we come together to train, to volunteer and to support and encourage one another. We participate in events through the year and we raise awareness of the need for clean water. Your fundraising helps to build wells that impact the lives of the Pokot.

So your next step depends on what you want to do and how you want to step out!

A great first step is to join our mailing list to stay up to date on all our events and opportunities to jump in!

Next, visit our events page for upcoming opportunities to jump in. Sign up’s will be made available as we get closer to event dates and will be posted on the event page and emailed to our community.

And most important, setup your fundraising page! Whether you walk, run, cycle or volunteer – everyone can participate in fundraising.

And last, connect with us. Follow us on social media and join us on our mission to provide clean water!

Team Email Communication

We use email as a main communication tool and encourage you to sign up for our emails if you haven’t already. If you’re not receiving emails from Hope Water Project, complete the online form here.
