BEGINNINGS: The Start of The Church | Apr 24- May 8
Now what? The followers of Jesus had witnessed his death, resurrection, and ascension into heaven, but now they were on their own. They had to adjust to being without the physical person of Jesus – just like us. The book of Acts shows us what church is really about – the personal pursuit of faith in God and living in authentic community. Join us for this three-week series as we learn about the the start of the church, the introduction of the Holy Spirit, and why the church is God’s plan for this world.
Upcoming Series: Above All | May 15-29
What floats to the top of the list? What’s the most vital of all? In the Bible, Peter makes a powerful statement that begins “above all” which is followed by three actions for those who follow Jesus: to love others deeply, use your gift, and serve in strength. Join us for this three-week series as we focus on these age-old action steps that will show us how to live out our calling today.
Faith & The Family: My Child With Differing Abilities | May 24
Join us for our next Faith & The Family event as we hear the personal stories of two women from our community who share a deep friendship and a common bond as mothers of children with special needs. Taylor Leal and Tessa Stockman hope to bring their own experiences – both the highs and lows – to encourage other families on the special-needs journey. Free registration at kensingtonchurch.org/faithandfamily.

Jump In Opportunities
Spring Courses
Spring is a great time to try something new! Most of our locations are offering Bible Basics – a course that dives into scripture to understand its themes and history – as well as women’s studies like Encounter and Insights. We have ongoing Celebrate Recovery and community groups too! Find a place to connect at kensingtonchurch.org/groups.
Volunteer Teams
Connect and grow at Kensington by serving on a team! We have hundreds of opportunities – from making coffee, to rocking babies, to building sets. We could really use someone like you! Information and sign-up at kensingtonchurch.org/volunteer.
Kids & Students
We want your child to get connected here. KKids offers children’s programming and age-appropriate activities during services for birth through grade 5. Breakaway, for students in grades 6-8, meets weekly for outrageous fun and relevant teachings. Edge, for students in grades 9-12, is a safe place to connect and grow socially and spiritually.

KFriends
We want everyone to feel welcome as they come through our doors — including children, teens and adults with differing abilities, their families, and caretakers. “Kensington Friends” or KFriends is offered at our Troy and Orion locations and is a time where differently-abled teens and adults can be in community while also being given the care and attention they need.
