Here at Kensington, we aim to make church the best hour of every kid’s week. Our KKids program, for kids birth through grade 5, is offered at every weekend service at all our Kensington campuses – we look forward to meeting you and your family!
Baptism for Elementary Kids: Students in kindergarten – grade 5 participate in a different baptism preparation process. Please see below for next steps.
Baptism for Middle and High School Students: Please register students in grades 6-12 for the baptism class noted above. During the class students will meet separately with their Student Ministry Director.
Child Dedication is for infants and older children. This service is done publicly before family, friends, and our church community in demonstration of our collective commitment to raise this child up to know Jesus. Please see information about the child Dedication class below.
When you understand the meaning, significance, and steps involved in baptism as a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ, you are ready to schedule your baptism day! You will receive specifics from the baptism team. Don’t forget to invite friends and family to witness your baptism – it will make it more special!
Every leader and volunteer will go through an extensive background check and application process before leading our kids and students. Our Early Childhood and Elementary classrooms have ratios that we stick to, as well as safety procedures and protocols.
We do our best to not have food or open candy in the classrooms, but occasionally snacks may be offered. If you have a child with food allergies or sensitivities please make us aware so that we can avoid exposure and accommodate their needs while attending KKids.
