The primary role of the Campus Administrative Assistant is to provide the Campus Director, Campus Staff and Lay Leaders with administrative support to accomplish the goals of each ministry. In addition, this position supports the Guest Experience Coordinator in day-to-day operations and assists with details and planning of campus events.

Education: Undergraduate degree preferred.
Experience: Administration experience, working knowledge of various computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Database programs. Ability to learn new technology quickly a must. Project Management experience helpful.
Requirements: A self-starter; able to work well independently, completing projects with excellence. Affirmation of mission, values and beliefs of Kensington Community Church.
Campus Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support for Campus Director, Guest Experience Coordinator and Discipleship Director as needed. Prepare materials (handouts, signs, etc), manage reservations, order meeting and event food, handle event registrations, coordinate Membership interviews and manage short-term projects that support Campus ministry. Attend weekly and monthly meetings and help with organization and hospitality needs for team meetings. Manage and maintain Birmingham Campus database. Pay campus bills and invoices through Intacct. Track weekend attendance and submit to central per their specifications. Order supplies for campus team as needed and keep inventory of supplies. Maintain, organize & clean the Birmingham campus office space at Troy as needed. Oversee the process for vetting volunteers and tracking volunteer applications to ensure volunteers are up to date with background checks, paperwork and references.
Sunday Morning Support:
Lobby presence for the Birmingham campus on Sunday mornings. Coffee team and Hospitality team lead. Assist with Campus Events that require administrative support. (Meet Familiar Faces, baptism, volunteer recruitment, holiday services, etc.)
Answer all calls and e-mail correspondence for campus. Create Campus communication/e-news. Prepare flyers, media requests, signup geniuses, campus social media calendars, informational materials for lobby as needed. Run point on working with Communications team on Basecamp requests etc.
Engage with campus team to create invites, signups for events and assist with ordering and budgeting for campus events, in collaboration with Guest Experience Coordinator and Bham staff team. Events would include Superbowl, Easter, Mother’s Day, Volunteer Recruitment/Celebration, Father’s Day, Fall Fest, Christmas, Special Events monthly, Etc. Examples of non-Sunday events may include Spring Serve, Core Team Nights, Easter Egg Hunt, Warming Center, Thanksgiving Baskets, Summer Service, etc.
