Kensington Kids (KKids) is for children Birth thru 5th grade. Babies and toddlers receive nurturing care and have fun activities in a safe and loving environment. Preschoolers and elementary kids participate in high-energy music, creative lessons and games, and have tons of fun learning about Jesus.
Breakaway (Grades 6-8) is the middle school ministry and Edge (Grades 9-12) is the high school ministry at each Kensington Campus. It is a weekly experience for students to connect – a place to belong, a place to have fun, a place to explore faith. We spend time together is large group where we learn about Jesus in a powerful and relevant way, and then break into small groups to ask tough questions, grow, and develop great friends.
A weekend service lasts just over an hour. It includes worship music and a live teaching. Each Kensington Campus has one or two teaching pastors, and it’s not uncommon to see teachers on stage from other campuses. There is no dress code, so come as you are. Make sure to get a cup of coffee on your way into the auditorium. If you are visiting or new, please plan to stop by The HUB in the lobby either before or after service to introduce yourself. Don’t be shy, we’d love to meet you!
In one word, “yes”! Come as you are. Do not fear being accepted. Are you single, divorced, broken, recovering, gay, transgender, atheist, skeptic, other? Everyone is welcome at Kensington.
