Volunteer and Job Opportunities

One of the best ways to connect and grow is to serve others. And the best way to do that is by using your God-given gifts and abilities to impact the world. At Kensington, we offer hundreds of ways to live and work for a cause greater than ourselves.

Volunteer Positions

Kensington's success is no accident. Thousands of people (just like you) have stepped up to volunteer their time and talents. Opportunities vary from working once a week to once a month. Jump in and see how life change happens through the simple act of serving others. The list below highlights areas we currently need help with the most. If you don't see anything you're interested in, check out a complete list of serving areas to plug in with here.

Do you like coffee? We are looking for a coffee brewer to serve one Sunday a month from 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. You would be using a commercial coffee grinder & brewing machine to make coffee and hot chocolate. Then you'd need to deliver it to the coffee station, monitor amounts used and, if needed, replenish the supply throughout the morning. At the end of the morning the brewer collects the coffee containers from the coffee station, rinses, and stores them in the concession room. The person will need to be able to lift a full container to a cart (about 40 lbs.) or have help. Only one person is required, but it also works well if a couple wants to volunteer and work together. The equipment is easy to operate so no experience is required. Contact michaell.dupin@kensingtonchurch.org if you are interested.
