Edge is celebrating the wrap-up of summer with an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament! Get ready to square off after the Edge Service. Meet at your campus at 6pm to catch a bus to Troy. Troy students show up at 6:30pm. No buses from Adams HS. Bus permission slip required.

Overview. Want to know more about Edge? I know you do.

The player will show in this paragraph

    Regional Gatherings

Every Sunday (except the first Sunday of the month) Edge students from each of our 5 campuses gather together at our Troy regional campus. We offer transportation to and from Troy via bus from every campus each week (leaving at 6pm). Hundreds of students come together for Community, Celebration, and a multimedia service that reveals the character of the Creator.

    Campus Celebrations

From dodge ball tournaments to house parties to the infamous all-nighter, the first Sunday of every month is set aside for your specific community. Edge students from all 5 campuses gather in their own neighborhood to celebrate what God is doing in their own "backyard," inviting classmates and neighbors into a group of students who are shaking up their community.

    Small Groups

Edge is made up of hundreds of students from different grades, ethnicities and styles. So it's easy to feel lost in the crowd. Which is why our small groups are a big priority. Small groups meet weekly or bi-weekly in same gender/age groups of 5-10 students. Whether serving together, eating, or studying the scriptures, small groups are the place where you know and become known. Sign up for one.

    Outreach

Edge is on the move - across the street and across the globe. We're continuously sending high school students to other parts of the state, nation, and world. To our local and national church plants as well as our global partners. Edge kids serve those who need to see the loving heart of God... and in the meantime we get to see God work in us as well. Sign up for one.

    Bus Permission Form

Our Regional Gatherings involve buses transporting our students. Download this form and fill it out once for your student to ride the bus for all of this year's Regional Gatherings. Please download, print, and send it with your student. This form does not cover events outside of the regional gatherings. Download it here.

Outreach. Edge is going global. Along with our local and national trips, we are offering opportunities for you to see what Kensington is doing around the world.

    Short-Term Trips

For our generation, it seems like the whole world feels like our own backyard. We love to explore brand new environments, meet new people, and help build and rebuild the broken communities around us, from individuals in need to actual cities. Whether you want to go to Africa, Israel or ride around Detroit on bicycles serving the community, do it together, and don't wait.

Each high school or college student will be assigned (as CIA) to either a camper with special needs or a behind the scenes service job (as Barnstormer) in camp. The CIA will become a "parent" for a week; changing, bathing, feeding and loving their camper. The Barnstormer spends nearly every minute making sure the camp is running whether it is serving food or cleaning. Camp is filled with tons of activities, great parties and fun filled meals. It's non-stop and fulfilling!
