Crisis Care
Sometimes we need a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, or a listening ear. When crisis hits, your first point of contact is our Campus Care Providers. They're trained to get the proper information so our Care teams can step in and better care for you. If you need assistance, call during business hours at 248.786.0600 and ask for a Campus Care Provider. We're ready to help.
PrayerNow
We offer PrayerNow, an e-mail driven team of committed prayer warriors who provide consistent prayer cover for those who are hurting. Stephen Ministers
Inspired by a story of the early church in Acts 6, Stephen Ministers are trained, compassionate listeners who walk alongside others. They provide skilled and distinctly Christian care in times of need. They can't promise to have all the answers, but they can promise their focused support. To receive care from a Stephen Minister, call us at 248.786.0600 and ask for a Campus Care Provider - they can get the process started. Other questions? E-mail stephen.ministry@kensingtonchurch.org

Marriage Resources
At Kensington, we think marriage is a great idea and one of God's best ways of helping us grow. But like everything worthwhile it requires regular care and feeding. Whether your marriage is thriving, barely surviving or somewhere in between, click here for resources and ideas on strengthening your most important relationship.
Counselors We Trust
Sometimes we need a guide to help us through a hard time, and distinctly Christian counseling can be your best investment. We recommend that you interview several counselors before making a final selection. We also believe that Jesus is at the center of any healing process, but it can be helped by a knowledgeable counselor. If you're looking for professional help in your marriage, family, or personal life, look below for a list of counseling centers in your area that we know and trust.
GriefShare
If you've lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, it may be hard to feel optimistic about anything. GriefShare, a 13-week study to guide you through grief and loss is open to all. Each session, led by people who have experienced it themselves, includes a video seminar featuring interviews with top experts in the field, along with small group discussion. Click here for more information.
Kensington Visitation Ministry
Our dedicated volunteers bring encouragement and prayers of faith to those who are in local hospitals, medical centers, recovery centers and homebound. If you or someone you know would be blessed by such a visit, email visitation@kensingtonchurch.org or call the Troy Campus during business hours at 248-786-0600.
Need a helping hand?
Having a need is what makes us human. Sharing the need is what makes us the Church. TheCommon.org is a web-based tool that connects people with specific abilities to people with matching needs. You can ask for help (I need a ride to the doctor... I need my faucet fixed) or offer help (I can fix appliances... I can bring meals). You can give stuff away (I have an extra fridge... I have a free lawnmower) or get something you need (I need a stove... I need a wheelchair). Simply visit TheCommon.org to register — and match your needs to someone’s ability.
All for free.

You can bring prisoners the hope of Jesus by volunteering. We provide training and preparation to all applicants. Areas of outreach include being a pen pal (corresponding with prisoners), visiting inmates (going into the prison), and mentoring the children of incarcerated parents (giving them attention and direction). Military Family Support Group
As parents, spouses, family members and friends of loved ones serving our nation in the military, it's tough to travel this uncertain and difficult road alone, and impossible to stand on our own strength. The Military Family Support Group was designed so we can meet others in our unique situation, share experiences, learn from one another, lift up each other and those serving in prayer, and find comfort in an environment grounded in Jesus Christ. We meet on the second Thursday of each month @7pm at Ann & Gary Green's house. For more info or to add the name of someone serving in the military to our prayer list, contact military@kensingtonchurch.org.
